I am not sure how long this has been going on, but I just noticed Guggi's website is being updated. It says it will be ready soon!! I guess we will see new work from our favorite artist. Mmmm, Gavin getting ready for a new album as well as U2 and a Guggi exhibition-everything does seem to happen in threes. The unholy trinity likes to work together. Great news. Caroline, can you tell us anymore at this time? Thanks.

I'm not sure, but I think I heard Gugs is back with the Kerlin Gallery.

I'll definitely try to go see his new exhibition when it's on. Must find out when it is.

Other than that... Happy Christmas. :-)

I always really liked the Kerlin Gallery space. It's so open and free of the 'necessary spaces' of the gallery ie the offices. I liked they were on the separate level. When you walk up the stairs, it's a great space, reminded me of the RHA without all the quasi-pomposity.

Wish he'd do a show on the west coast of the usa. San Francisco kinda sucks in the art market/ gallery thing, but LA is a wee bit better, though I would hate to go there to see a Guggi show. But he said he'd never been to San Francisco so he should come visit!

Guggi says he loves New York and tries to get here a couple of times a year. So I think he should make a stop at the Tony Shafrazi Gallery for a brief show that I will attend and then go visit Isola in SF!!!! (winks!!) I think that sounds like a plan. Guggi are you listening?

I just wanted to say how beautiful Guggi's new website is. For those of you who haven't seen it, check it out. I sure wish I could see his show.

I went to see the show yesterday in the company of Mr Friday. I love the space at the Kerlin Gallery, it is so much better than the Solomon.
The pictures on the website really don't do Guggi's paintings any justice. They make them look flat, while they're really quite vibrant eventhough the colours may seem muted. I am going to go back later this week to see them again.
All but two have been sold, and it's only the first week of the show. So well done, Guggi.

I think Guggi is doing a tv interview with Pat Kenny this week too, should be The Late Show then. (He was on the phone to Gav about it when we met up.)
