I was just wondering if anyone knows all the artists that have been placed on that Wall of Fame in Temple Bar? I know who is on there now but they say they change it every year. It has been up for a few years now if I am not mistaken. Well, you can vote online so of course I placed my Virgin Prunes vote! You can only vote once so if they have not been on before, all you VP fans out there get online and vote!!! They deserve to be there as much as the Irish artists that are. Thank you Caroline. I am a bit ashamed to admit that after all these months and posts, I have never looked at the faq section. Well, I am certainly looking it over right now.

A friend of mine told me that The Script were just put on the Wall of Fame in Temple Bar about a month ago. Now, I have absolutely nothing against The Script-they seem to be a pretty good band and quite popular. But come on-they just hit it big and they make the wall already? Shouldn't they achieve some greatness first? They sound very promising and perhaps they will be worthy of that nice honor someday. It is really an injustice to put them on and not the Virgin Prunes-one of the most innovative bands in the history of music. Even critics who don't like the VP's say that. Now as far as I know, the VP's have not been on it. After getting that little rant of mine off my chest, I realized it is probably very appropriate that the VP's don't get on it with the rest of those artists. It fits right in with the whole meaning of a virgin prune. But, of course, I voted for them anyway! And by the way, what about Mr. Gavin Friday! I am going to vote for him too. His achievements are as good as some of those artists on there as well. OK- I'll shut up now.

After enduring about a 2 year campaign for President here in the US, I thought I would be weary of it all. But I was actually inspired by it. I have decided that I am going to really launch an all out campaign to get the VP's on that wall. Now it may not even be something they care in the least about at this point in their lives, but as a fan, I do. I figure if we can elect the first African American President, then all things are possible, right? I e-mailed them just to be sure they were never on the wall. They have not answered yet, but I am fairly sure they have not been on it. Each year someone gets removed to make room for someone new. I was thinking if we can't vote them on, U2 should give their old pals their spot! (I only wish that is how it really worked!) So any VP fan out there, go to the link above and VOTE. You only get one vote, so get family and friends to help out. It only takes a minute. And if all else fails, get every U2 fan you know to place a vote in honor of Edge's brother and Bono's BFF's! I really think this can be done if we do that. Thanks!

Thanks so much lynshroom. I hope as many people as possible vote! Yeah, if they actually do make it, I think I would have to find a way to get there to see it in person myself. Maybe our forum members could have a Gavin/VP convention. Wouldn't it be great to see them on there and Gavin (and/orGuggi or the others) could go out for a drink with us to celebrate. OK-I can dream can't I?
